Katie Crutchfield, who records as Waxahatchee, and Kevin Morby have welcomed their first child, according to Pitchfork.
Morby announced the news on his Substack, writing that the baby arrived two weeks earlier than expected. He said he got home from his European tour just in time and noted that Crutchfield’s water broke only about eight hours after he returned.
In his post, Morby said the couple had been waiting anxiously for the baby not to come too soon while he was away on tour. He also wrote that he would have to cancel his set at this weekend’s Eaux Claires Festival.
