Wasia Project have released a new single called ‘Vogue’ as they build toward the arrival of their debut album, ‘Nocturne,’ according to NME.
The sibling duo, made up of Will Gao and Olivia Hardy, will release ‘Nocturne’ on September 18 through AWAL. It follows earlier singles ‘2515,’ ‘Bleeding Gold’ and ‘Whale Call.’
In a statement about the song, the pair described ‘Vogue’ as an ethereal, club-inspired track about giving in to desire instead of fighting it. They said the song explores the rush of connection, anticipation and obsession.
Wasia Project are also set to tour in support of ‘Nocturne’ starting in November. The run begins in Glasgow on November 4 and includes dates in Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol, London, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam and Berlin.
