Anne Hathaway’s pregnancy fashion has been drawing attention as she continues making appearances for film premieres and events, according to E! News. The actress announced in June that she and husband Adam Shulman are expecting their third child.
At an Aug. 9 block party for the sci-fi survival film The End of Oak Street, Hathaway wore a custom Atelier Prabal Gurung look that featured a sculptural halterneck and low-rise jeans. E! News also noted that she has been seen in several other maternity outfits during her recent press tour.
Hathaway briefly addressed a style moment that got attention after fashion outlets pointed out she had worn a cherry red Ashlyn New York jumpsuit backwards during an outing in New York City. In a July 1 Instagram video, she responded, “I did? I did...I did.”
The actress, who is already mom to sons Jonathan and Jack, told People in April that her daily wardrobe has to work for active family life. “You have to be able to play pickup basketball at any point, in any outfit,” she said, adding that she often expects something to be thrown at her by the end of breakfast.
On Late Night With Seth Meyers, Hathaway joked that she and Shulman were surprised their efforts to have a third baby worked, calling the pregnancy “our buzzer-beater.”
