V of BTS has been chosen as the global face of Champion’s new “True Champion” campaign, according to Billboard. The announcement was made Monday, Aug. 10.
The campaign also features Romeo Beckham, Danna Paola, Kyle Kuzma, Sofi Tukker, Megan Keller, Bella Sims and Jaalen Best. In images posted by the company on Instagram, V is seen wearing a dark blue hoodie while looking toward the camera.
Champion describes the campaign as celebrating a winning spirit and what it calls “unspoken greatness.” In a statement, Stefani Fleurant of Authentic Brands Group said V’s creative vision, worldwide influence and connection with fans make him a natural fit for the brand.
V has worked with other fashion labels before, including Cartier and Celine. He also joined his BTS bandmates on a Nike collection in May tied to the group’s ongoing ARIRANG World Tour.
