Pitchfork has released a new edition of its Selects playlist, featuring tracks the staff says they have been playing heavily this week. The playlist is meant to spotlight songs the publication’s writers, editors and contributors would gladly share with a friend, according to Pitchfork.
This week’s lineup includes Ravyn Lenae, @, Ela Minus and Nick León, along with several other artists. Pitchfork says the playlist is updated each Monday as a way to share staff favorites and new discoveries.
Among the songs included are Ravyn Lenae’s “Potential,” @’s “Punish My Mind,” and “Don’t You Want Me” by Meshell Ndegeocello and Cat Power. Other selections include Susanne Sundfør’s “I It Am,” Cruel Santino’s “Oz (ft. Jeriq),” and Pixel Grip’s “Reason To Say (Matrixxman Remix).”
The playlist also features Helena Gao’s “Lao Wai 老外 (ft. Shushu),” Prairie Princess’ “Hold on to Me,” and Ela Minus and Nick León’s “Qué le pasó a mis amigos?” Pitchfork says listeners can find the playlist on Apple Music and Spotify.
