Underscores has released a music video for “The Peace,” a track from her new album U, according to Pitchfork.
The Ayodeji-directed visual is set on a dramatically lit soundstage, where April Harper Grey is surrounded by a frantic crowd. As the breakup song plays, the set gradually fills with smoke.
The article notes that Grey will spend September and much of October opening for Charli XCX on the North American Music, Fashion, Film Tour.
After that run ends, she is scheduled to begin her own headlining shows in Europe a few days later.
