Talk Talk have announced a 40th anniversary reissue of The Colour of Spring, with the album set to be cut at half speed, according to NME.
The reissue is scheduled to arrive on September 4, one day before the band’s one-off anniversary show celebrating the album. The record will be pressed on 180g vinyl and cut by Matt Colton at Metropolis Studios.
According to NME, drummer Lee Harris and Mark Hollis’ son Charlie have once again overseen the reissue’s production. The tracklist includes songs such as “Life’s What You Make It,” “Living in Another World” and “Time It’s Time.”
The remaining members of Talk Talk are also due to reunite for the anniversary performance on September 5 at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town. The lineup will include Simon Brenner, Phil Ramocon and Ian Curnow, along with guest appearances and support sets from several artists.
