Sleep announce first album in eight years, Hempispheres

Sleep have announced a new album titled Hempispheres, which is set to arrive on October 30 through Third Man, according to Pitchfork.

The release will be the band’s first full-length since 2018’s The Sciences. It also marks the first album with the group’s current lineup, which includes Bubba Dupree and Dale Crover alongside longtime frontman Al Cisneros.

Hempispheres will include the previously released song “Have Spacesuit Will Travel” as well as a new track called “The Morrisist.” Pitchfork also noted the album’s tracklist, which features five songs in total.

The announcement comes as Sleep also have an upcoming tour and comic book in the works, according to the report.
