According to Pitchfork, Beyoncé has released a remix pack for her recent single “Morning Dew (Donk),” and one of the new versions includes a rare verse from Jay-Z.
The new, high-energy remix is set to appear on a 20th anniversary reissue of B’Day. It samples several familiar songs, including Soulja Boy’s “Donk,” the Isley Brothers’ “Between the Sheets,” and parts of Sheck Wes’ “Mo Bamba.”
The original “Morning Dew (Donk)” was co-written by Beyoncé, Pharrell, The-Dream, and Darius Dixson. It was produced by Pharrell and Beyoncé.
Pitchfork says the remix pack also includes an acoustic version titled “4:44” based on its runtime, a “Donk Mix,” and what appears to be a duplicate of the Jay-Z remix.
