Shueisha launched its MANGA MILLION project on Aug. 6, unveiling a global digital service to celebrate the company’s 100th anniversary, according to Billboard.
The platform offers about 400 manga titles in more than 100 languages, with a total of one million pages available free for a limited time. The service does not require registration and is scheduled to run through the end of December 2027.
The lineup includes major shonen and seinen series such as ONE PIECE, NARUTO, BLEACH, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Jujutsu Kaisen, Kingdom, OSHI NO KO, SPYxFAMILY, and Chainsaw Man. It also includes more than 150 shojo and josei titles, among them NANA and Kimi ni Todoke: From Me to You.
According to Billboard, all translations are handled by professional translators, and about 300 of the titles are receiving their first English translations. Starting in mid-August, the service will also begin “near-simulcast” releases for about 30 ongoing series, with new chapters arriving roughly two to three weeks after their Japanese debut.
Shueisha said the service is aimed mainly at overseas readers, so availability in Japan will be limited to select content, including ONE PIECE volumes 1 through 12 in all 107 languages and English-language interview features.
