Liim has announced a new album, A Sunflower Garden in Harlem Is Hard to Find, which is set to arrive August 28 through Three Times Louder, according to Pitchfork.
The project marks his second album in less than a year. It follows Liim Lasalle Loves You and will include his recent singles “R.I.P Peace” and “Is Loving Really Bad?”
Along with the album news, Liim shared a new song called “1980,” which features AJRadico. The track also comes with a video inspired by Eric B. & Rakim, according to the press materials cited by Pitchfork.
Liim said in the release that Paid in Full and Juice are movies that connect him to where he is from, adding that growing up with scenes from those films brought back memories for him.
