One of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Star Island homes in Miami has sold for $55 million, according to Rolling Stone. The off-market deal involves the waterfront property at 1 Star Island Drive.
Combs bought the mansion in 2021 for $35 million. The buyer is John A. Franklin, who is financing the purchase with an $18.5 million mortgage from San Diego-based Axos Bank.
The estate is one of two properties Combs owns on Star Island. He still owns the other home at 2 Star Island, which was searched by Homeland Security during a federal investigation that included sex trafficking allegations.
According to Rolling Stone, the 1 Star Island property had previously been owned by Gloria Estefan and Emilio Estefan and includes six bedrooms, eight-and-a-half bathrooms, a guest house, a pool, a private dock, a basketball court and spa. Combs is currently serving a 50-month federal prison sentence at FCI Fort Dix, and his appeal is still pending.
