Taylor Frankie Paul had a blunt response after Whitney Leavitt unfollowed her on Instagram, according to E! News. When Leavitt followed suit, Paul commented, “Good,” before launching into a lengthy message about her support for Leavitt over time.
In her comment, Paul said she had defended Leavitt in the past and backed her through tensions with the cast. She also accused Leavitt of waiting for her “down fall” since the beginning, and ended the note by saying Leavitt could come back “mid season.”
Leavitt recently finished competing on season 34 of Dancing With the Stars and appeared in Chicago on Broadway. She announced in May that she would step away from Secret Lives of Mormon Wives to pursue other opportunities.
The unfollowing drama did not stop there. According to screenshots shared by the @themormonwivesreport Instagram account, Miranda Hope and Layla Taylor also unfollowed Paul, though Hope said in a comment that she had not been trying to “prove a point” and simply no longer saw the connection as one-sided.
Paul’s standing with the franchise has been complicated in recent months. E! News reported that filming for season five was paused in mid-March after footage surfaced showing a domestic violence incident involving Paul and her ex, Dakota Mortensen, and Paul later said she has been focused on her mental health after a recent stay in a rehab facility.
