Sean Combs was reportedly involved in a fight with another inmate at Fort Dix earlier this week, according to Rolling Stone. A source familiar with the incident said the disagreement led to Combs being placed in solitary confinement.
TMZ first reported that a fellow inmate allegedly taunted Combs, who then lashed out. The two reportedly exchanged shoves and throws before prison guards broke up the confrontation. It is not clear whether the other inmate faced any discipline.
A representative for Combs said they were unable to confirm the report at the moment. Fort Dix also declined to comment, saying it does not disclose internal information about inmates in its custody.
Combs is serving a 50-month sentence after being convicted last July on transportation to engage in prostitution charges. He was acquitted in a separate federal trial in New York of more serious racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges. According to the Bureau of Prisons website, he is scheduled for release in February 2028.
