Arca premiered new music from her upcoming album XXXXX during an experimental livestream directed by Daniel Sannwald, according to NME. The performance was streamed live on Twitch and YouTube on Thursday night.

The two-hour set took place inside an abandoned factory in Barcelona and featured Arca performing the album in full. Highlights included versions of “Willow,” “Tacondeando,” and “Grip,” along with back-to-back performances of “Fxck” and “Finisher.”

According to the source, Arca said the stream was made possible with support from Feeld. She also described the show as a chance to present a full-scale production for fans and thanked supporters of experimental art.

The album is due out on July 31 through XL Recordings and will be Arca’s first new release since the end of the Kick pentalogy in 2021. Arca previously said the 16-track record would lean into a darker, more aggressive and more experimental sound.
