Police in San Jose, California, helped round up a Shetland pony that was found wandering loose in a neighborhood, according to UPI Odd News.
The San Jose Police Department said officers were sent out after someone reported a small horse running around in a residential area. Police later said patrol cars helped them locate the pony trotting through the neighborhood.
Officers were able to reach the animal’s owner and return the pony safely, the report said. The owner told police the pony had escaped the night before.
In a social media post, police said they were glad the “little adventure seeker” was back home safe.
