Role Model says he has long imagined becoming a single father to a daughter, according to E! News. The singer, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury, shared the idea during the July 16 episode of Therapuss with Jake Shane.
“My dream has always been to have to be a single father, and to have a daughter,” he said on the podcast, adding that he would like to raise her by himself. He also said he already has a name picked out: Winnie.
The “Sally, When the Wine Runs Out” artist said he is open to having a surrogate and wants a daughter who is “ideally mine.” He added that he does not want to be a bad father, and said he has thought about whether his choices could be harmful for a child.
Role Model also said he believes raising a child alone could create a close bond, explaining that he would want to mold a child into his best friend. The interview comes as he prepares to release his album Chuck Timely & The Hourglass on August 7.
