Radio Free Alice have released a new single called “Kick In The Shins,” a lively track that looks at isolation and confusion in modern culture, according to NME.
The song is out now via Atlantic and combines two unfinished ideas the band were working on. It features bright, summer-style guitar lines and vocals from Noah Learmonth.
Learmonth said the track came together when the band merged the verse from one song with the chorus from another. He said its core theme is the feeling of being confused by the culture around you and the isolation that can come with that.
The band have continued working with producers Ewan Pearson and Peter Katis on the release. They are also set for a busy summer of festival appearances, including Tramlines and Truck Festival this week, followed by Y Not, Boardmasters, Way Out West, Reading Festival and Riot Fest later in the season.
