Rod Stewart postpones Cincinnati show at the last minute after medical procedure

Rod Stewart has postponed a concert in Cincinnati at the last minute because of a health issue, according to NME.

The 81-year-old singer was set to perform Sunday night at the Riverbend Music Center as part of his current One Last Time North American tour. Organizers said the show was pulled just hours before doors were scheduled to open.

In a statement, organizers said the delay was due to an unforeseen but minor medical procedure that needed immediate attention. They said rescheduling is already underway and that more information will be shared on Tuesday.

The post also said all previously purchased tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date. Stewart is expected to recover quickly and hopes to return to Cincinnati, according to the statement.

Stewart’s most recent performance was in Connecticut on Friday, after shows in Virginia and New York State. He is currently scheduled to perform in Cleveland on Tuesday before continuing with more U.S. dates, including his Las Vegas residency.
