Phoebe Bridgers will make her acting debut in the upcoming A24 film Primetime, according to NME. The movie is directed by Lance Oppenheim and stars Robert Pattinson.
Bridgers’ role has not yet been revealed. In the film, Pattinson will portray Chris Hansen, the host and creator of To Catch a Predator.
Primetime follows the rise of the Dateline segment that featured Hansen confronting suspected child predators. The cast also includes Merritt Wever, Skyler Gisondo, Matthew Maher and Bokeem Woodbine.
The film is scheduled to open on September 25. Meanwhile, Bridgers is preparing to release her third solo album, Lost Weekend, next Friday, August 14, through Dead Oceans.
