Karen Huger says Andy Cohen was one of the few people she allowed to talk to her while she was in prison, according to E! News. The Real Housewives of Potomac star spoke about the support she received from Bravo after finishing her sentence for a DUI charge six months early in September.
At the premiere of Real Housewives of Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th on Aug. 4, Huger said Bravo stood by her during a difficult period. She also said the experience helped her focus on getting sober and staying clean.
Huger described Cohen as kind and supportive, saying she loves being part of his team and his Bravo family. She said the warmth she received from him made a difference while she was paying her dues.
She also said she believes everyone deserves a second chance, pointing to Robin Dixon’s return this season as an example. While she wishes she were part of the new Ultimate Girls Trip series, Huger said she plans to watch and cheer on the Housewives involved.
