Pentatonix’s Scott Hoying and husband Mark include daughter Birdie on new album

Scott Hoying of Pentatonix and his husband, Mark, are set to release a new children’s album that includes their baby daughter, Birdie James Hoying, as a featured artist, according to Billboard.

Birdie’s recording debut appears on Little Birdie’s Big Symphony, a 10-track album arriving Aug. 20. Billboard reports that her first sounds were captured on an iPhone on the day she was born and later incorporated into the project.

The album is the couple’s second children’s release, following M.Y. F.A.M.I.L.Y. in 2025. It was inspired by the Hoyings’ early experience as parents and also ties in people and artists who have been meaningful in their lives.

Among the guests are Trout Fishing in America on “The Flamingo Song,” Christina Perri on “Landslide,” and Kina Grannis on “Lullaby (Close Your Eyes).” Scott produced the album, with additional orchestration and production from Dave Pierce and A.J. Sealy, according to Billboard.
