Authorities responded to Kim Kardashian’s Hidden Hills, California, home on Aug. 9 after a man was seen loading items into a vehicle on the property, according to E! News and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputy Tracy Koerner told the Los Angeles Times that the man was arrested on suspicion of burglarizing the home, which is currently undergoing renovations. Kardashian owns the property, but she and her four children were not staying there at the time, officials said.
The man’s identity has not been released, and the investigation is still ongoing, according to law enforcement.
Sources also told TMZ that the man allegedly took a staffer’s car for a drive around the neighborhood before a security guard tracked it back to Kardashian’s home and contacted deputies. Authorities took the man into custody without further incident.
