The official trailer has been released for the new Oasis documentary Don’t Look Back In Anger, and advance cinema tickets are now on sale, according to NME.
The two-hour film is set to open in cinemas worldwide, including IMAX, on September 11. It is directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace and produced by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight.
According to the film’s synopsis, Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger follows Liam and Noel Gallagher’s Live ’25 reunion tour and includes the brothers’ first joint interview in more than 20 years. The documentary also features rehearsal footage along with backstage and onstage moments from the tour.
The trailer shows scenes from rehearsals and the Cardiff opener, while Liam Gallagher says the comeback gives the band “a chance to change the narrative,” as quoted in the preview. Noel Gallagher also reflects on the reaction to the tour and the meaning of the songs to fans.
Fans in North America can buy tickets through Fandango and other outlets, while UK bookings are available through cinema chains including Vue, Showcase, Cineworld and IMAX. The film is expected to stream on Disney+ later this year, with Disney+ and Hulu carrying it in the US.
