A North Carolina man says his long-running connection to the number 7 helped lead him to a $1 million lottery prize.
According to UPI Odd News, Biscoe resident Tomas Munoz bought a $10 Triple Red 777 Jackpot scratch-off ticket at Candor V Mart on South Main Street in Candor after spotting it and feeling drawn to it.
“Seven is my number,” Munoz told North Carolina Education Lottery officials. He said he was born on the 7th in 1977.
Munoz scratched the ticket right away and found that it was a top-prize winner. He said he plans to use the money for investments and to support his hobby of restoring classic cars.
