Mrs. GREEN APPLE finished the last dates of its ZENJIN MITO TO IM/MUTABLE stadium tour with shows on July 4 and 5 at Tokyo’s MUFG Stadium, also known as the National Stadium, according to Billboard.
The tour included six performances in all: four at MUFG Stadium across April and July, along with two shows at Osaka’s Yanmar Stadium Nagai in May. Billboard notes that the band became the first ever to stage four shows at MUFG Stadium.
Two of the Osaka dates and the two July Tokyo shows were limited to members of the band’s “Ringo Jam” fan club. ZENJIN MITO is Mrs. GREEN APPLE’s long-running series of self-produced concerts, which began in 2014 and has steadily grown in scale over the years.
During the July 4 Tokyo show, the band performed songs from across its career, including “Magic,” “StaRt,” “familie,” “ANTENNA,” “Dear,” “Lilac,” and “lulu.” Vocalist Motoki Ohmori thanked the audience and said the band’s four National Stadium shows were made possible by its fans.
