Laura Prepon is mourning the loss of her brother, Brad Prepon, who died unexpectedly last month at age 48, according to E! News.
The That '70s Show and Orange Is the New Black actress shared on Instagram Aug. 5 that her family had recently held a funeral for him. She said he died suddenly from an unknown heart condition and described the loss as a devastating shock.
In her post, Prepon encouraged followers to listen to their instincts and seek medical help if something seems wrong. She also wrote that Brad touched many lives and said she would miss him every day.
According to his obituary, Brad moved to California in 2002 and remained close with Laura and their three other sisters until his July 15 death. The obituary said he had a passion for world history and tennis, valued health and fitness, and treasured time with family and friends.
