Tyla appeared on Quen Blackwell’s YouTube series Feeding Starving Celebrities, where she cooked South African dishes and talked about music, fame and more, according to Billboard.
During the episode, Tyla discussed her FIFA World Cup collaboration with Future, explaining that the song “Game Time” came together after the two were sent the track for the tournament. She said she first met the rapper at the Met Gala and later performed with him for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
Tyla also addressed speculation about their relationship, saying the two were simply “vibing” during the performance and pushing back on romance rumors. “Calm down, I’m a working woman!” she said.
Elsewhere in the conversation, Tyla reflected on the success of “Water,” which reached No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2024, and said the sudden fame took time to process. She also shared that her album A-Pop blends African music, R&B, pop and house sounds, and said AI in music will likely make real music more valuable.
