Militarie Gun has announced a deluxe edition of its album God Save the Gun, adding three new songs to the release, according to Pitchfork.
The new version arrives August 7 through Loma Vista. One of the added tracks, “World’s Always Burning,” features Mannequin Pussy’s Marisa Dabice.
Two other songs are included in the expansion: “3 AM” and “I’ve Said Too Much,” which features Dazy. The original album came out last October.
The band is also preparing for a North American tour in September. In a press release, singer Ian Shelton said the new songs felt different from the rest of the album and represented a shift in perspective after being caught up in his own head.
