Pulp celebrated Rough Trade’s 50th birthday on Saturday with a concert at London’s Royal Festival Hall, according to Stereogum.
The band performed every song from their latest album, More, which was released last year and was their first record for Rough Trade after signing with the label in 2024.
One of the night’s notable moments came when Pulp played “Wickerman” from 2001’s We Love Life. It was the first time the group had performed the song since 2011.
The show also featured a PowerPoint-style element, with frontman Jarvis Cocker offering notes on each song from More. According to NME, the band also covered ABBA’s “The Day Before You Came” and played demos of several songs, including “Spike Island,” “Grown Ups,” “Farmer Markets,” “Got To Have Love,” and “A Sunset.”
