Deezer says music created with artificial intelligence now makes up more than half of the tracks uploaded to the platform each day, according to NME. The streaming service said the number has climbed steadily over the past year.
In September 2025, Deezer reported that 28% of uploads were fully AI-generated. By April 2026, that share had risen to 44%, with about 75,000 AI tracks being uploaded daily, while still accounting for less than 3% of listening time.
Now, Deezer says around 90,000 AI-generated tracks are being submitted every day, pushing the total above 50% of daily uploads for the first time. According to Music Business Worldwide, that means human-made music is now being outnumbered by AI-made alternatives on the service.
Deezer CEO Alexis Lanternier said the company has been fighting fraud and payment dilution tied to AI music for nearly two years. The platform says it is continuing to remove and demonetise AI tracks, and it has also introduced tools to detect AI-generated music on playlists from streaming platforms.
The move comes as other services also tighten their rules around artificial intelligence. TIDAL recently said it will not pay royalties for music made entirely by AI, while Spotify and Apple Music have also taken steps related to spam, impersonation and labelling AI content.
