Mathew Knowles says Destiny’s Child has a collection of new remixes on the way, with some expected to be released within the next 30 days, according to Rolling Stone.
Knowles, who once managed the group and is Beyoncé’s father, said on SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio that the project includes a variety of versions, including dance mixes, urban mixes and tracks that have never been released before.
He also said some of the remixes will feature guest rappers, while emphasizing that the group’s vocals are still at the center of the songs. Knowles mentioned Missy Elliott as appearing on one of the remixes.
The news comes shortly after Destiny’s Child marked the anniversary of The Writing’s on the Wall, the 1999 album that helped cement the group’s success. The group, which later became a trio, released its final album, Destiny Fulfilled, in 2004.
