Massive Attack have partnered with Bohemian F.C. to release a new football shirt, according to NME. The 2026 FAI Cup/Third jersey is intended to raise funds for medical aid to Cuba.
Thirty percent of the profits will be split between the Cuba Solidarity Campaign’s Cuba Vive Medical Aid Appeal and mediCuba-Europa. The release said the shirt brings together music and football while showing support for the Cuban people.
The design was created by Massive Attack and Bohemians designers, with inspiration taken from historic Cuban kits and the relationship between Cuba and Ireland. It features khaki and black stripes, a red V-neck with a white star, and Massive Attack’s logo on the front.
Other details include the Irish-language crest, the words “love is a doing word” from Massive Attack’s track “Teardrop,” and an embroidered tag showing Dublin artist Jim Fitzpatrick’s image of Che Guevara. The back of the shirt includes the Massive Attack flame symbol and a quote attributed to Guevara’s father about Irish rebels.
Massive Attack said they were proud to continue the tradition of musicians working with Bohemian F.C. to support a fan-owned club and highlight social and political issues. Bohemian F.C. chief commercial officer Daniel Lambert said the shirt followed months of work with the band and their team.
