M83 has announced a new album titled I Wrote You a Letter, which is scheduled to arrive on September 25 through Anthony Gonzalez’s own Other Suns label, according to Pitchfork.
The project follows the band’s 2023 album Fantasy. Since then, Gonzalez has also released a soundtrack for the sci-fi art film Resurrection.
Gonzalez said in an Instagram post that he made the new record with collaborators Joe Berry, Clément Libes, and Benoit de Villeneuve, and noted that more information is coming soon.
Pitchfork also shared the album artwork and tracklist, which includes songs such as “Blister Sunrise,” “Opera,” “Siren / Behold… Beasts,” and “Traces of Love.”
