An escaped bull calf caused an unusual chase in San Antonio on Tuesday after wandering toward a Walmart store on Southeast Military Drive, according to UPI Odd News.
City of San Antonio Animal Care Services said officers responded with police after the calf was spotted near the store. The animal entered the parking lot and even moved toward the front door before authorities followed it to a nearby green space.
Before officers could capture it, the calf quickly went into a large drainage tunnel, the agency said in a news release. Authorities nicknamed the young bull “Moodini.”
The calf traveled a short distance into the tunnel, then stopped to rest and was led by Animal Care Services to a livestock trailer. Officials said they do not know where the calf came from and are trying to identify its owner.
