In a new interview on The Tonight Show, Elliot Page said Christopher Nolan’s script for The Odyssey left him “breathless.” Speaking with host Jimmy Fallon, Page compared the experience to reading the Inception script for the first time.
Page said he was “really blown away” by the film’s scale, complexity and emotional drive. He also said he felt fortunate to be invited back to work with Nolan again on what he called an “epic and incredible” project.
According to Rolling Stone, Page described Nolan’s directing style as “impeccable” and said his sets are focused. He added that the director’s instructions are concise and that being on set allows him to stay fully present.
Page plays Sinon, an Ithacan soldier, in the film. He also talked about doing practical stunts, including an early scene involving the Trojan Horse, which he called a “classic Nolan” moment to film. Nolan has also said it was “really fun” to work with Page again and called him “terrific.”
