E! News is clarifying the timeline of Jax Taylor’s relationship with publicist Lori Krebs after news broke that the two are dating.
A source told E! News that there was never a years-long secret affair and that Taylor and Krebs did not have a romantic relationship while Taylor was still with estranged wife Brittany Cartwright. The source said their relationship changed only in the last several months, after both had already separated.
Taylor and Cartwright have both been going through divorce proceedings. The House of Villains alum separated from Cartwright in 2024, and the former couple share a 5-year-old son, Cruz.
The relationship has drawn criticism from former castmate Kristen Doute, who called Taylor “diabolical” during a July 22 appearance on Watch What Happens Live. Doute also said Krebs had been Cartwright’s trusted publicist for more than a decade, while Cartwright said on her July 17 podcast that she plans to speak her truth soon and is currently focused on her son, according to E! News.
