Denzel Curry and Kenny Beats have reunited for a new album called II, according to Pitchfork. It follows their 2020 collaboration Unlocked and is their first album together since the producer began using the name Kenneth Blume III.
The album includes guest appearances from Jpegmafia, Westside Gunn, and Yebba. Yebba appears on the closing track and single “Difference,” which also has a retro-style video now available to watch.
II is set for release on August 21 through Loma Vista. The tracklist includes songs like “Gone Fishing,” “Evil Grin,” “UPS,” and “Crown.”
In a press release, Blume said working with Curry is never easy, but the challenge makes the result more rewarding. He said the two have started each project from opposite sides and worked toward the middle, describing the album as a mix of growth and fight.
