Bloodstock has announced the first 27 bands for its 2027 edition, along with its three main headliners, according to NME.
Mercyful Fate will headline Friday night on August 5, 2027, returning to the Ronnie James Dio Stage after previously headlining in 2022. The band said they were honoured to be coming back and noted that they will have a new album out by then.
Electric Callboy are set to headline Saturday night in what will be their Bloodstock debut. Motionless in White will close the festival on Sunday, and the band said it will be their first ever European festival headlining show and their only UK show of 2027.
Bloodstock also confirmed headliners for the Sophie Lancaster stage, with Madball, Gaerea, Kanonfieber and Dethklok among the acts announced. Other names on the line-up include Devildriver, Corrosion of Conformity, Imminence, Wind Rose, Sylosis, Decapitated, Hammerfall and Hypocrisy.
VIP, campervan and instalment payment options for Bloodstock 2027 opened on August 12, and the festival also added a second luxury camping area called the Serpent’s Lair VIP Sanctuary.
