Employees at Hersheypark in Pennsylvania had to deal with an unusual visitor after a deer wandered into the theme park, according to UPI Odd News.
Witness Kimberly Hertz posted video to Facebook showing workers tending to the fawn near a tree close to a busy walkway. In the footage, employees covered the deer’s head with a towel and carried it out of the park.
Hershey Entertainment said the animal appeared to be a wild fawn in distress and acting erratically near one of the park’s employee entrances. The company said staff secured the area, removed the deer from the guest area, contacted the Pennsylvania Game Commission and followed its guidance.
The park said the deer’s visit did not disrupt normal operations.
