Cole Hauser says the first season of the Yellowstone spinoff Dutton Ranch came with more challenges than expected because creator Taylor Sheridan was not on set.
Speaking with Film Inside NYC on July 18, Hauser said the team had to adapt to new writers and directors while working through changes behind the scenes, according to E! News. He said that made the production harder, but also something he is proud of.
Hauser added that the most familiar part of filming was working with returning cast and crew members, including Finn Little. He said the group had to figure things out as they went and still manage to tell the story.
Despite the difficult shoot, Hauser said he is looking forward to doing it again for season two, which has already been greenlit. The story also noted that Benjamin Cavell has been announced as the season two showrunner.
