A traffic camera in Arkansas captured a real-life rescue when a man dressed as Spider-Man helped a person in a wheelchair cross a busy intersection, according to UPI Odd News.
The video, shared by the Jonesboro Police Department, shows the wheelchair user having trouble making it across the road before the costumed man gets out of his vehicle at a red light and quickly steps in to help.
The man in the Spider-Man suit was later identified as Christopher Hellenthal. He told WREG-TV that he was wearing the costume for superhero day at his job at Ultimate Air Trampoline Park.
Hellenthal said he did not realize the video had gone viral until his mother saw it on Facebook. He said he was glad people were responding positively and hoped others would also step up and do the right thing when needed.
