Chrishell Stause marked her 45th birthday on July 21 by revealing a dramatic hair change, according to E! News. The Selling Sunset alum showed off a new “Whiskey Copper” color created by celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton.
The warm copper-red shade was a big shift from Stause’s usual brunette look. In an Instagram Story, she joked, “Sorry for the whiplash guys,” and said she has learned to say yes when Appleton has an idea for her hair.
Stause also shared a follow-up video saying she really loved the result and thought it was fun. Appleton posted behind-the-scenes video of the transformation, including the pair joking about coloring her hair at home.
Appleton said he mixed a darker and a lighter Schwarzkopf Professional color to help the shade look shiny and healthy. Stause, who married G Flip in 2023, thanked him repeatedly and said she really loved the new look.
