Cardi B is pushing back on speculation that she had another plastic surgery procedure after previously having most of her illegal butt injections removed, according to E! News.
During a July 27 Instagram Live, the rapper said people immediately assume she has had more work done whenever she looks especially slim and polished. She said she has always been honest about her cosmetic procedures, noting that she has had two liposuctions and one butt reduction.
Cardi, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, has spoken before about the process of removing her butt injections. According to E! News, she said her last extraction was in January 2024 and that earlier procedures also addressed fibrosis.
She also explained in the livestream that she is not interested in a more drastic fix because of the recovery involved. Cardi said she is happy with her body as it is now and feels comfortable in her skin.
