Rob Gronkowski is offering a behind-the-scenes look at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding celebration, including how guests took part in raffle giveaways. In an interview with People published Thursday, the former New England Patriots tight end said guests had to win raffle tickets by playing games first.
According to Gronkowski, the event featured an arcade-style experience where attendees competed for tickets instead of receiving them automatically. He said he appreciated the setup because it meant guests had to earn their way into the prize drawings.
Gronkowski said he was hoping to win something for his girlfriend, Camille Kostek. He added that the competition made the event more enjoyable because there were no handouts.
Billboard reports that the wedding took place July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, with about 1,000 guests in attendance. Adam Sandler officiated, while Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks performed live.
Previous reports said prizes included designer bags and a 1970s Chevrolet Chevelle. Jackie Tranquill, who is married to Chiefs teammate Drue Tranquill, later said she won a Chanel purse.
