Bridget Fonda made a rare public appearance on Aug. 12 when she was seen out for lunch in Los Angeles, according to E! News. The actress, who retired from acting 24 years ago, kept her look casual for the outing in a black-and-white striped tank top, black pants and black sneakers.
Fonda, 62, also carried a black crossbody bag during the outing. Her public sighting comes years after her last screen role, which was in the 2002 miniseries Snow Queen.
Since leaving Hollywood, Fonda has focused on her family life. She married musician and composer Danny Elfman in 2003, and the couple welcomed their son, Oliver Elfman, in 2005, who is now 21.
Fonda has also made clear that she does not plan to return to acting. When asked in 2023 if she wanted to work in the industry again, she said no, adding, “I don't think so, it's too nice being a civilian,” according to the Daily Mail.
