Lane restrictions on State Route 347 are set to continue through next week as crews carry out paving work and materials testing, according to InMaricopa.
The work includes another round of around-the-clock restrictions this weekend, so drivers using SR 347 should plan for extra travel time if the route is part of their weekend commute or errands.
ADOT is asking motorists to slow down, obey posted speed limits and merge carefully through the construction zone. Drivers are also urged to watch for workers and equipment near the roadway.
Officials say allowing extra time for trips through the area is the best way for commuters to avoid delays while the work is underway.
