Zara Larsson helped Sombr launch his first European festival headline performance at Sziget 2026 in Budapest on August 11, according to NME. Both artists appeared on the festival’s main stage.
Larsson had already drawn a large crowd earlier in the evening with her own set, which included performances of songs such as “Midnight Sun” and “Lush Life.” After her show, Sombr was shown arriving backstage with Larsson and some of her dancers before heading toward the stage together.
Sombr’s performance focused on songs from his debut album, I Barely Know Her, including “We Never Dated,” “I Wish I Knew How To Quit You,” and “Homewrecker.” After that track, he told the audience it was his first time in Hungary and said he felt welcomed in Budapest.
He also called headlining Sziget his first festival appearance in Europe as a headliner, and later introduced his single “My Body Isn’t Ready,” which addresses his own body image struggles. Sombr ended the set with “Back To Friends” and “12 To 12,” and wrapped up by waving a Hungarian flag in front of the crowd.
Sziget continues on August 12 with Twenty One Pilots set to headline, along with performances from Biffy Clyro, Ashnikko, Tomora and others, according to NME.
