Adam Sandler has long embraced working with his family, and according to E! News, that includes his wife Jackie and daughters Sadie and Sunny. The comedian and producer has appeared in projects with them for years, including films where Sadie and Sunny have acted alongside their parents.
In a June 2006 interview with Access Hollywood, Sandler recalled feeling overwhelmed when Sadie was born, but said that within minutes he felt a strong bond and deep love for her. He said it only took about 10 minutes for him to feel like a good dad.
He later told Smartless in 2020 that when things are going well at home, everything feels better. Sandler said having a happy wife or partner and happy kids lets him feel free to be himself.
The E! News story also notes that Sandler has regularly brought his family into his work, from early small roles for Sadie to larger parts for both daughters in You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah. Director Sammi Cohen told The Hollywood Reporter that the sisters work hard, care about filmmaking and are very talented.
Sandler has also spoken often about his late father, Stanley Sandler, and the importance of family. According to E! News, that experience helped shape the way he approaches fatherhood and why he likes having his wife and daughters with him whenever possible.
