Yungblud Returns to Lollapalooza With Sweaty Set and Fan Jam Session

Yungblud returned to Lollapalooza in Chicago on Friday and delivered a high-energy set built around songs from his 2025 album Idols, according to Rolling Stone.

The performance marked his second appearance at the festival, after he last played there in 2018. It also came after he pulled out of Cowboys Music Festival on July 9, following a vulnerable post earlier in the week about being called an “industry plant,” Rolling Stone reported.

During the show, Yungblud brought a fan named Katie from Michigan up from the crowd and handed her his guitar and pick. The pair played “Fleabag” together before he jumped offstage to high-five and hug more fans.

He closed the set with “Zombie,” and also included “Hello Heaven, Hello,” “Changes” as a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath, and “My Only Angel,” which nods to his collaboration with Aerosmith.

Rolling Stone said the set drew a large crowd to the Bud Light stage, and that Yungblud’s fans were especially enthusiastic given his recent canceled shows. In a January interview, he said he had been taking steps to look after his health while preparing for an extended touring schedule.
